Make "Smart UV Project" multi-threaded

I might be wrong here, but it seems as if "Smart UV Project" (and the other unwrapping options as well) don't take advantage of the full CPU power. I sometimes have to unwrap models with 100K+ polygons and this can take ages while the CPU mostly idles along. So using all threads (maybe optional) might speed up that process significantly.

There is currently a patch that refactors smart uv from using python to c. It looks like it will improve performance by up to 10x. developer.blender.org/D8311

* @Eitan * Great to hear that this is worked on. Unfortunately I have no clue how to compile my own builds so I will have to wait until it's implemented. But cheers for the info.

* @Andreas * it was committed and is now in master

* @Eitan * Thanks a lot for the info. I'll test it in the next few days.

* @Eitan * I tested the Smart Project option in 2.91 Alpha and it's significantly faster. A 180K model went from 120 seconds (2.83.3) down to 14 seconds. This is massive. Still only using one thread with the CPU load only being at 13%. So there might be even more potential for improvement in there.

its not that every software problem is easily multit threadable. You do this usually once in a project, it would be an improvement that only happens a few times during a project. They better multithread all things related to rendering and physics, things that happen for every rendered frame.

* @peter.boos * I think UV unwrapping is used fairly often. And why not make as much things multi-threaded as possible - sure. But you have to start somewhere.
