Store export settings in the blender project
glTF is already doing this, but is should be a feature for every export format. I see no reason why it should not exist for more/every export format.

For one there is actually no way to store a value in a Blender file at project level using an add-on. The value is in fact stored in the current scene's custom properties which you don't really want all the enabled addons to do, and has the limitation that it won't be remembered across all the scenes in the file. So the button should be labeled "Store export settings in the current scene properties" to be more accurate. Also isn't it what the Operator Presets feature is for ?
Well, the operator presets revert to the "defaults" everytime you close Blender. So it becomes very tedious.
Hmm then this is a bug on the addon's part and I agree it should be fixed
Bug? this operator "quirk" applies to every export format ever in Blender. It dosen't seem like a bug, it's more likely a oversight.
Well I just tested it and the feature worked. The user experience is pretty bad but it does work and is remembered across sessions at least on Windows. However it writes files to your system so it might be an os specific problem, so not on the software's side. The idea is getting positive traction so I'll stop sidetracking the comments. Cheers
