More conspicuous flag for LOCAL VIEW
Maybe it's just me, but I've wasted a lot of time being baffled when I go to a Scene and things cannot be viewed, only to find after several minutes that LOCAL view is engaged.
Could we maybe have that text in bright yellow, or read, or whatever the current theme "alert" color is???

this has been requested a few times, i believe somebody even wrote an addon that will draw a yellow box around the viewport or something along those lines.
Adding a subtle colored frame to the viewport would be perfect.
Several times same happened to me too. Everyting shold be visible, but you dont know what you doing wrong! Its rare, when that come to problem, but if local view became more distinguishable, change viewport background, add frame to view, or something, it will not harm.
