Stepped animation Everything Modifier
when i want to use stepped animation i have to copy the same modifier onto every fcurve , this can easily amount 10 or more fcurves per object (characters cant even be used with this method its 100s of fcurves )
would be nice if we could just evaluate/display the animation of an object only every 2nd 3rd etc. frame including other modifiers, material node animation and other animatable properties . it would probably even save lots of cpu, gpu and io

So basically frame step, but for playback.
only for the object though .. you might still want to animate the camera or other objects at full framerate.
If it's for full-fledged animation then you usually want to control each displayed frame anyway, so unless for prototyping I don;'t really see a use case for that ?
That being said, I'd like for the anim curves modifier to have a way to set them up more easily on multiple curves at once, or even on object level, or action level, or whatever.
The current per-curve system is fine if you need only a few modifiers but a nightmare on large scale, so having tools to easily scale up the curve modifiers would be a wonderful addition.
