Asset Browser more Link and Append option
Hi, I think it would be useful to put the append operator options in the asset browser (Localize all, Instance object data, ...). Currently, if you append a file that has data indirectly linked to other files, these are also imported into the scene.
Also it would be very useful to have a new insert mode (or some options in the actual link mode) that creates a new local object but keeps the data linked instead of having to manually localize the object each time.
I don't know if it makes much sense creating a library that places objects where they were "created" . In addition in this way you could use "place object under mouse" new tool.

Hi I also really miss this feature in the new resource browser, but the developers of the resource browser have already started discussions about it. developer.blender.org/T93010 You can write your opinion there too. If more users start discussing it, maybe it will come to Blender sooner.
I personally used Asset Wizard for this before. It works as you describe (local object and linked data), but now I'm coming to the conclusion that automatic creation of library overrides might be a better solution.
The drag, snap and drop feature has worked for a while, but has been disabled due to the fact that there is no solution selected yet to support the transformation of linked assets. developer.blender.org/rBf81c514bd22a25b2c6951e506f64252e0f5e84bf
