Please overwork tool size limits in Blender

Hi.

I have problems working with large scenes in Blender 2.79. Some important tools loose their functionality when (very) large objects are used.

Example 1: "Remove doubles" function has a max range limitation of 5 cm. Why should be a limitation here?

Example 2: The Bevel modifier became buggy and does not work with models that are 50 Meters and more. Especially big sizes models.

Example 3: The wave modifier has no influence when a real big size plane is used.

This are only some of problems when working with large meshes.

Can this be fixed in 2.8 please? Why should be a limitation here? Is it not math only?

Thank you Chris

Part of this is a communication thing. Blender has hard limits and soft limits for most input values. Sliders stop at soft limits, but you can type any value available up to the hard limits. This feature could probably be communicated more clearly.

It seems you do something wrong in your " Large scenes with large (very) objects ".

@forestgumpovu4: Thank you. Interesting. Could be the the reason I'm using a scene Unit Scale value of "0.001" ?
