"Sample Curve" modifier

Instances on elements only works on meshes. Sometimes, however, I want to instance collections on curves at controlled intervals. "Array" won't work because I'm trying to instance a collection, not an object.

There are a couple ways to skin this proverbial cat, including teaching "Instances on Elements" to accept an input curve (almost exactly like how "Array" works). However, I think it would be more broadly useful to have a modifier that creates a mesh face (plane) at each sampled point, oriented according to the curve's tangent/normal. This could then be chained with "Instances on [Faces]".
