No instant re-rendering in cycles-viewport when moving/hiding nodes
It's annoying that if you work on a cycles material and clean up the nodetree (by moving/hiding nodes, adding reroutes or frames or deleting unconnected nodes), the cycles-realtime-viewport instant starts re-rendering althought the material itself hasn't changed.

I doubt this can be done for all the situations you named (i.e deleting unconnected nodes, adding reroutes) as Cycles must go through the whole nodetree before knowing what the material is. So if you change the nodetree, it will have to go through it again. However, moving a node doesn't change the nodetree, so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible in that case.
I think it's resolved now. Except for adding/deleting reroute, because it affects the connected node tree.
Really ? That's awesome. Do you have a link to some dev notes or whatever explained it ?
Unfortunately not, but you can just try it and you'll see. All the operations that are not involved in the affection of the renderable node tree don't refresh the render. Except for adding/deleting reroute as i said before and grouping/ungrouping.
By not i meant i don't know where to find dev notes.
