editing node groups
we should add node group settings to the n panel when not tabbed into the group. This change wouldn't add any functionality that isn't already there, but it would make node groups way more intuitive. Twice I have tried to edit a node group's input sockets when I wasn't tabbed in and I had no idea why the group tab wasn't there. The group settings tab should just appear in the N panel when you have the group node selected.

I agree this would be super handy as I frequently wish I could edit inputs and outputs while looking at the Group from the outside. The problem with this is—which I assume why this isn't a thing now—if you are already tabbed into a Node Group, and wish to edit inputs/outputs for a selected Node Group which is Inside of that one, which settings would appear? Perhaps there could be two sections, or separate tabs, for the current tabbed-into Node Group and any externally selected one.
