Syncronise Outliner Between Windows

I'd love it if the outliner synchronized between different windows. Currently, if I'm working in, say, Shaders, and I have certain collections open in the outliner, then I switch to another window, like Layout, the outliner is completely different. Worse, all the collections get expanded open. (Yes, I know this latter has been discussed, but it's so annoying). It would be great if the outliner looked exactly the same in any window. If anyone knows of an addon to do this, pray tell.
