Poly-Count Targets.
Hi! No idea how plausible this is, But what would be the likelihood of getting an option to select a target poly-count for the Remesh and Decimate Modifiers? My system can only decimate models of 10M poly or less, and it takes a fair amount of time to find that sweet-spot. Also, if I mess-up and set the voxel size too small, it darn near crushes my system. There have been times when a voxel size of .02 gives around 6M poly, then trying .01 will jump to a whopping 22M+. It would be amazing if there were a remesh setting that allowed me to remesh to a target of 10M polys. The same principle could also be applied to Decimates. Thanks. BLENDER RULES!!!!

You can already do math right in blender inputs. So target polycount divided by current polycount will auto calculate value perfectly:
10000/15744=0.635163
Well, yes, but it could be nice to not have to do math, and to have this available in any of the Decimate modifier's modes as well as other remeshing tools.
Yeah, I agree.
Uv packing has similar annoyance - margin is only presented as ratio. And while you can do
margin in pixels / texture resolutionmath to get ratio having access to pixels directly would save a bit of time.
