Mini-readout
I know you can see this stuff when Object Properties is open, but a real-time readout that tells you how far you're actively moving or rotating something (and how much you're scaling something).
It sure would make some of the video tutorials out there easier to follow (the ones where they translate with the mouse with no visual or audio indication of how much).

Look at the viewport's top left corner:
Thanks for that! I forgot to include the other half of my request (a readout of the mouse pointer's location, even with nothing selected).
what for?
Helps with precision maybe? Some cad apps like Autocad have it.
Sorry, but I don't see the practical application for this. Maybe it could have sense in the UV/Image editor, but in the viewport? Could you explain, please?
What do you ever do that requires your mouse pointer location on the screen - and especially when nothing is selected ? What would you do with that info?
The only application I can think of for readouts is to know precisely what you are doing in the scene, but your pointer's coordinates doesn't do that in the Viewport afaik ?
If you want to move a selection by X amount, you can read that amount while moving stuff and even type it in, but knowing your pointer's position on your viewport will not help in that, you will not calculate the amount of pixels you need to move your pointer relative to the distance actually performed by your selection.
Sorry. Yup. You're right. It's all those years of CAD coming though. I can only think of maybe a few cases where it might be useful, but any seasoned Blender user could find a way of doing things without ever needing to know the non-selection pointer location. Unless maybe someone really needed to know how far out they ended up in ortho space.
