Visual representation of force fields

Well, I found a very handy feature inside mantaflow domain and it’s the viewport display setting. It turns the smoke velocity visible in the viewport for better understanding of what is going on. In this gif example, you can see the velocity field being represented in the viewport. I’m wondering if it’s possible to see all the blender force fields like this.

There is an option to bake particle trails. So if you bake with 1 field, you can see it. BUT! field is not trails. It is like 3D colored texture: in each point of space (sic!) there is 3D-vector (RGB color where RGB can be any value, including negatives), showing direction and power.

So, you can visualize forse this way: place large grid of particles. Simulate few frames. Bake trails. In this case, trails will get picture that pretty close to force distribution.
