Rename "Base point" option to "From"
The newly added option "Base point" can be renamed to "From", i am saying it for two reasons-

Base point sounds technical but From is quite familiar and we instantly get idea like we want to move from here to there. I understand inclusion of more words hinders to artistic creativity.

Disagree. The word "From" does not fit and just seems vague. But "Basepoint" makes little sense too, as it implies that it's the pivot, which it is not for scaling and rotating. So, for Moving, it should be called "Pivot point" or "origin point", and for Rotation and Scaling, it should be called "Reference point". And since for moving it's a "Pivot Point", it should not exist at all, as there already is an option to select what the pivot point is to the left of the snapping menu. How I think it should work, instead: Place the 3D cursor, have it as the pivot point, and it snaps the moved object accordingly to the 3D cursor position...
