Clipping/slicer material for cycles

Most render engines have a material, which enables a render time boolean operation. It is much faster than geometry based booleans in other engines and you don't have to apply the boolean modifier to every object you want to cut, which is very important from a workflow standpoint. Corona calls it slicer material, Arnold, Vray, Octane clipper/clipping material. 4361f21552a9c15fccfafb4a931daf2b991121ab.jpeg

Yeah that would be good to have. I worked on arch-viz for years and that is very useful for diagrams and semi-technical stuff. Initially it can be at least some primitive shapes; cubes, planes and cylinders go a long way. Don't know how fisable it is with cycles.
