Make Blender UI a repositiory for other projects
I was researching C++ UI and i was assessing the UI solutions from popular open source software such as Kdenlive and LMMS. I noticed they were both using QT for UI which is quite an old framework and is problematic in many ways. I was worried because QT is getting older more bloated and its making opensource software feel out of date even if the core is solid. Feature support for modern UI is just not there and if you want to go "Modern" you can use electron which is really slow. I understood that there wasn't many other alternatives but I also remembered how modern and new blender's UI felt.
My request is that Blender makes it's UI into a UI library separate from the core so that opensource software can modernise their user interface and improve user experience. Thanks for reading!

Blender's goal is not to provide a UI framework for other projects. I am not a dev but I guess that splitting Blender's UI from its source would require a huge amount of work and effort.
I agree. Blender devs already got a ton on their plate to maintain. It's impressive how they even manage to do that, but please no extra's so they can keep focussing on the core instead of fixing other software's issues!
