Better Collision System

I wished Blender had a better self-collision system, with all the cool functionallities, all the powerful add-ons and stuff, you can literally do everything you want. But the bad collision system prevents us from going a step further in realism and it's not somehting you can implement with the API. I've already talked about this here: devtalk.blender.org/t/congrats-to-current-features-and-one-more-request/18443

Currently self-collision in Blender works by vertex distance and as soon as the vertices get nearer one another, the threshold can't be sustained anymore and the cloth begin to uncontrollably and unstoppably twitch, thus making it unusable. I needed a proper land on and stand still collision that works, but as the cloth gets compressed everything goes insane. As I wrote in the link page, Maya has got an impecable self-collision system, that works by default, without the need of fine tuning it too much. If Blender had that I could do all my projects in Blender, which would be a dream come true. I need somebody that can handle implementing a better self-collision algorithm, please. I think that is an ultimate need, that's literally the only thing preventing me from exchanging softwares, everything else is being marvelously implemented but this. Please!

Well basically the whole physics system is old except for mantaflow. Replace it all with a better system..

Definitely! Idk about the hole system but, the self-collision is super important to be changed because whenever u turn it on, everything goes wrong, u simply can't turn it on, like never.... That's real frustrating dude!
