load, unload replace the links from library
It will be nice to have a window like outliner for linked library with option to load, unload and replace from the scene. This will be usefull for large scenes with many linked libraries. Example we can have two sets one with high polycount and low polyount the animators can load the low poly set and animate the scene then at the time of rendering or for playblast we can switch to high poly set.

The Library section of the Outliner provides some of this functionality, but it could be cleaner. There have also been add-ons that help with this. The Edit Linked Library add-on (disclaimer: I wrote it) lets you do this somewhat manually. And during Tears of Steel, they wrote an add-on specific to that production called Powerlib, which could be used for this sort of thing.
@Jason van Gumster: just saw the demo video about the powerlib addon but there is no remapping option if the library file is moved to some other location
That sounds much like what we would need to deal with a very large and complex file (about the human anatomy) filled with links of all kinds: When exchanging modified parts of the blend between remote contributors, it will be way easier to copy-past only the parts involved within another empty file.
If each object could keep and recover (when pasting them back in the main file):
-their material (no duplication) -their names (no duplication '.001') object+mesh/curve+… -their properties -their parenthood relationships -their (hidden) collections
-they may some day also have animations/actions, drivers, etc.
Ideally, a popup window would ask if the user want to replace the original links or not (as the default Windows folder system does).
