Tooltip for the N-panel tabs (and maybe a little more)
Since the N-panel usually gets more and more cluttered with the addition of more and more awesome addons, wouldn't it be nice if there was tooltips that show the name of the addon on the tabs there as well, just like it is in the properties tabs? And also being able to rearrange (maybe even make categories in) the tabs.

Let's stick to just one feature proposal at a time here (besides, there are already a few other proposals with respect to tab management).
Tooltips for tabs would be handy, but I wouldn't limit it to just add-ons. Add-ons can be integrated anywhere in Blender's interface. This should be a generalized solution that works for all tabs, whether they're added by default or by an add-on.
