detached undo history panel in Blender

Thank you for reading, for years now I've been wanting and waiting for someone to pick up on the idea of this, but alas.

Such menu will be very handy and a lot less handling / stressy repeat work for newcomers and advanced users alike. Especially regarding having to do a -lot- of undo actions!

I'm still learning to sculpting for instance and sometimes I work with models that are incredibly heavy and simply undo isn't reliable. Also, when I undo I don't want to go through 20 undos to figure out where I went wrong. Or going up in the menu hundreds of times, waiting for the panel to open and sometimes flap open in your screen where you want to see what you did wrong. Now I need to move my model so that when the panel opens I can still see what is happening. (I'm usually keeping 300 - 500 undo actions)

Another thing is that I'm often deep inside the model removing or sculpting things and removing my view and mouse from that point where I'm deleting for hours on end, is so much more stressful in the amount of accurate handling.

Just one click from a panel that I can keep moving around, that is always open would really help me and others a lot!

Respect for your hard work and thanks again for considering. Kind regards,

I made this proposal: UI/UX - Developer - Undo History. I suppose it's more or less what you're looking for, but the problem is that there isn't much support for that kind of idea.

Your request is directly against blender notorious and most moronical idea of "non overlapping" UI paradigm. So no detachable and floating panels. No body cares its an industry standart. No body cares what you will in fact not suffer from "ops something being overlapped" but benefit from such possibilities.
