Nested video editors
I'd like to have ability put video editor sequence to existing video editor sequence. I can already do scene strip, but that doesn't bring the VSE sequence.

Isn't that what metastrips can do already?
Use meta strip instead
It's possible already...
In the scene strip properties change the input from camera to sequencer...
