threaded export for video sequencer

Outside of setting up a render farm, there is no way to multi-thread the export from Blender's VSE. It would be cool to leverage FFmpeg's -thread option, or something similar; right now, an hour-long VSE project with colour correction on each clip plus a few fades takes way too long to export.

I'm currently calculating a sequence and only one thread is used, it's looooooooong, really too bad.

This may be possible. Based on a quick search of the FFMPEG API, there is a global variable that relates to threading in libavcodec .

That said, based on some other reading , it seems that not all codecs support multi-threaded encoding/decoding. So this may not be all that trivial of a thing to enable.

Granted, the entire UI for picking codecs when using FFMPEG in Blender is a bit of mess anyway, so maybe this is a relatively simple solve compared to that.
