The (Z)
Changing between wireframe and solid is slower than before, it was better when it was done only by pressing Z once. Why not make it so when pressing Z once, it toggles between the two , and make the pie menu show only when holding Z.

Someone posted almost this exact proposal just moments before you did. I offered a solution there.
