Packing UDIM Textures into .blend File
I use a UDIM workflow for Texturing. However when i Try to Save my files into the .blend file, only the 1001 Texture Set is being saved. I do not know if this is a bug or if I'm reporting it in the correct forum. Basically i heard the UDIM Files are recognized as an image sequence or something and isn't efficient to Save Bigger files. But all i use is 2K Textures and memory wise they are about 25 MB.
Now i need to separate each UDIM Texture Set into its own Single Image Material to Pack it into the .blend file. But this is extremely time consuming and i wont be able to affect the Materials as Easily.
So in the end my Feature request would be to Save UDIM Tiles and Textures into .blend File.

seems like it might make a good GSOC project
I think Blender files deliberately don't include videos/image sequences, and hence UDIM sets are sequences for Blender they aren't packed with the file. A shitty behavior, I can imagine it's there to keep the file size low if some noob wants to include a 2000 frames EXR sequence. It should be configurable.
This feature is on the to do list developer.blender.org/T72390 There hasnt been any news on UDIM development lately so probably they are busy with other stuff. But I agree that UDIM packing and baking are kinda hot features that you must have if you want to work with UDIMs inside of Blender only. Hopefully soon!
To me, this is not an expected behavior, so I would consider this a bug to report via the menu Help → Report a bug.
