AI-based solution to fix Blender API incompatibility of plugins caused by version updates

In the past, numerous plugin developers have created a wide variety of add-ons for Blender. However, as Blender itself undergoes version updates, and many of these plugin authors gradually cease maintenance due to practical factors such as insufficient revenue, some useful plugins can no longer be used in the latest Blender versions. Is it possible to develop an AI system specifically tasked with modifying the code of legacy Blender plugins, enabling them to be compatible with all subsequent Blender versions? After all, many incompatibility issues are merely caused by API interface changes—this should be feasible for AI-powered programming tools to address.

I have just managed Gemini to make the old addon Meshlint, to work in Blender 5.0. I asked her to 'compatibilize' the code with newer Blender versions. I loved this addon, and the mantainer ceased to update it. It stopped to work since Blender 4.0 I think. If the addon is small, like this, you can do as I did. If the addon is more complex... I don't know. Maybe this is a good idea.

Look through all the extensions that get submitted - written by AI, containing tons of errors and nonsensical code - which take hours of time to evaluate and eventually reject. No, this is not a great idea.

Chatbots don't know how to code. All they do is fake it, with varying degrees of "acceptable."
