Experimental Blender Icon

Hey!

Just a quick request - is it possible to change the icon of Blender experimental builds to something slightly different than the regular one? It's pretty confusing and a slight color change would be definitely cool and appreciated!

Until (if) will be done officially, you can do it yourself very simple:

  1. Find the file blender.svg in your Blender installation folder
  2. Copy it in a different location to preserve it for your shortcut during the updates
  3. Edit the copy either with Inkscape ( inkscape.org ) or with any text editor (if you want to change the 'fill=' values manually), change the colours as you like and save it.
  4. Customize the icon of your experimental shortcut pointing to the modified icon.

* @voxel9 * Yes, I've done it already. The picture I posted is not photoshoped (except the texts). :)

***@Drax *** Has this method any drawbacks for you? If it would be implemented, it would be limited to a specific colour. The manual change allows each user to set any colour he likes, For example, I'm using grey for 2.79, default icon for 2.82 and blue for 2.83 ... So it looks to be more flexible this way.

* @voxel9 * Experimental builds can coms out a few times a week. Updating it every single time isn't that much work, but it would be much easier. And also, you can still use whatever icons you want, the system wouldn't change.

* @Josephbburg * Oh, really? I didn't know that - can you link me to the original question, please?

EDIT: I'm just stupid lol
