Per Object X-ray Option [in Object Mode]

HI guys,

The feature that I want to request is X-ray option for the Object Viewport Display Properties.

I am aware that this feature sort of exists for edit mode using the retopo option. But I would like this to be in object mode as well. It will be very useful when modelling inner parts in relation to the X-rayed mesh.

yep, Set viewport shading to "object", change object Alpha in the object viewport display settings Imgur

I see its kinda what I want but it isnt versatile i.e. I want it to work in the random colour mode which i usually choose to work with.
