Please fix zoom behavior where it's like hitting a wall. Maybe only spacemouse issue?
I don't know if this is mostly an issue just when navigating with my spacemouse but I feel like I have experienced it at other times but especially with the space mouse there is this moment when moving in toward an object where it's like a dog hitting the end of it's leash and I can't move forward any more. From there I can rotate 180 deg and back closer then turn back around. I don't know what is causing this but it is infuriating.

I think I know what you're talking about, and it doesn't have anything to do with your mouse.
In your preferences, try enabling Navigation > Orbit & Pan > Auto Depth.
That said, Right-Click Select is for feature suggestions and this seems more like a bug report... That said again, maybe this can be changed to a proposal to make the aforementioned setting default?
