Switch node length output

✏️ [EDIT]: SOLVED IN 5.3 WITH " COMBINE LIST NODE " WHICH CIRCUMVENTS " INDEX SWITCH NODE ".

Add a "Count" output for the number of items in a switch node.

When I'm editing Index Switch nodes, for example, I find myself constantly having trouble keeping the "count" of items up to date. In my use cases, I generally need to process that switch node inside a Repeat Zone or a Closure to List node that need a "Count" input (see example above).

Furthermore, when the tool is in the hands of a user/artist, it quickly becomes cumbersome and confusing to have to update an additional "count" variable when visually everything seems to be correct looking at the switch node alone.

Thanks!

And why not use the Combine List node, which appeared in Blender 5.3 alpha

Well... that solves it. I'll wait for 5.3 to be stable released then. Thanks!
