Pausing and resuming Rendering in Blender
Sometimes the animation takes days together to animate. I cannot keep my computer switched on for so much time continuously. If I could render the animation for some time everyday, that would be great!!

That is planned for cycles x so it might be in 3.0. Or in short its in development
Thanks for letting know!!
Please edit the idea and set the status to In Development
Emmm... I don't see option to change status of my suggestions in edit no more. Is it something new?
It would be super awesome if you could export the paused render. Sometimes it is hard to judge necessary sample counts, so I sit around for an unnecessary half an hour waiting for the samples to finish when the image looks fine. So maybe a way to pause, then the option to "denoise, apply compositor and export"
Very cool feature. Please make sure it is for SINGLE FRAMES, as pausing rendering an animation is pointless and already available (just tell it to not overwriting existing frames and render the ones that are not done yet)
I have frames that take 10 hours of rendering, but I can only block my PC for 6 hours, so I can't render it now, I have to wait for it to be available in a 10 hour block.
