Filter Add-ons Alphabetic Order
wouldn't it be a better idea to have the addons on the Filter Add-ons checklist listed by alphabetic order?
(plus wouldn't be bad to have them ordered by category...)

It's good idea to add this ui element from bottom:
That will cover both alphabetical sorting, filtering and inversion for both.
Any chance of getting this in the upcoming 4.1?
Time ago I made this design task to tackle this issue.
There is a patch by guishe that's under review currently: projects.blender.org/blender/blender/pulls/112684
Fingers crossed.
gave a look at the whole pull, seems perfect to me :D let's hope it'll make it into realease.
PS: quick website bug report, I can't like your comment. tried to refresh and hard refresh the page but nothing happens. when i click the heart the orange loading bar on top appears for a fraction of a second but nothing happens... Let us like you, Pablo! hahaha
Also maybe regroup them by category in subpanels, it's quite messy to have a giant list of addons already.
