Multi-Input Switch Node in Geometry Nodes

The Switch node is a great addition to Geometry nodes, but I think that it should definitely have more than just two alternative inputs and also an integer as the switching factor, instead of a boolean. That way a user can truly cycle through the inputs without having to build a whole chain of "Compare + Switch" for each alternative. It should look more similar to the Switch/Case concept in programing languages. I really hope a Blender developer gets to see this suggestion and update it.

Instead of changing from Boolean, a better idea would be to give it an integer properrty

I agree. This is exactly how houdini's switch node works and it's great

There was a patch time ago about this. developer.blender.org/D12199

You could ask in the patch what is the status, a lot has changed since then but Johnny is actively working on nodes stuff nowadays.
