Noise Generator Node
I was thinking about a way to quickly port noise maps to blender. This would make it possible to create his own noise textures, or port them from the internet, games, or other software.
A simple way to make this would be to create a noise node, where you can input the amount of octaves, the amplitude and the frequency of the sine curve(s) and the node would combine them with:
y=y1(sincurve1)+y2(sincurve2)...
There should also be a way to decide how many dimensions the custom noise map uses.
I´m sure there are still some things, that are necessary to port noises to blender and i still know relatively little how this works, so if I have forgotten anything, just comment.

That's what OSL is for, now supported on Optix, in the alphas! developer.blender.org/D15902
Texture Noise node ?
White Noise node ?
I know these nodes . I just thought it would be great to make your own noise nodes, or at least add your own octaves. In the aftermath, I realized that I did not describe very precisely what I meant in this report. That is why I am going to delete this one and write it new .
