Allow folders to be dragged into the Blender window the same way as .blend files*
*IF said folder contains exactly one .blend file at the top level. This is just to un-complicate things, but if there's interest to create new UI to handle dragging in a folder of multiple .blend files, I'm all for that too.
I use the drag-and-drop feature as my go-to for appending/linking assets. Very often, a Blender asset such as a single model will have its own folder with one .blend file and a textures folder. It would save 1 click if I could drag the container folder into the Blender window. I know, sounds like nothing, but it adds up over time like any other small optimization.
