Enhance Mirror Modifier with Additional Symmetry Options (e.g., Central Symmetry)
The Mirror Modifier currently only allows mirroring across the X, Y, or Z axes. This is too limited. I suggest adding more symmetry types, starting with Central Symmetry (mirroring geometry around a central point). This would be very useful for modeling many symmetric shapes and patterns.

it is already achievable through empty or array modifier in geometry nodes, i think Blender team should release those ready to use geometry nodes so people dont ask for such simple features.
If by central symmetry you mean distributing objects around in a circle shape, the new geometry nodes based Array modifier can do this. Just add it to an object, set the shape menu to circle, and play around with the gizmos to adjust it.
Please also add an option to exclude certain vertices from clipping/merging. They always seem to get stuck in the middle :P
