New feature for Areas scaling
Management of the work space in Blender is very important. This new feature should facilitate the management of Areas in Blender. I have seen a similar option in Linux.
The advantage of this option compared to the old method, when we change the size of Areas, is that you do not need to hover the mouse cursor in a certain place.
The short cut shown in the video is just an example.
If you need, you can open this video in a new tab

I've been thinking about this recently, about fast and easy area disposition. In addition of this feature, I thought about adding this "quickness" to the other options:
Swap area: positioning the cursor in one area, Ctrl + Alt + Right Click, and while holding go to the other area.
Split area: Positioning the cursor in one of the 4 trigger zones dividing each area (explained later), Ctrl + Alt + Left Click to activate the current function to split. In the top/bottom axis, the vertical split would be activated, and the horizontal one with left/right axis.
For the trigger zone I'm thinking, for example, about 4 triangles splitting each area in a shape of cross.
I chose split and join functions the same mouse button as they are quite related, and specifically left click as it's the most used button for the most used functionality between split/join and swap, but of course this can be discussed.
I'd like to have this as option, chasing that line and be precise to click make me wanna cry all the time!
