Improved NPR / Grease Pencil Suggestion

youtu.be/gT9qU_fJNuw This video showcases some late 2000s NPR tech that achieves the npr look better than any other software to date. Seriously look at the wheel example at 1:30 and watch how the edge lines randomly fade as if it were actually drawn by hand! It has so many simple yet powerful features that if blenders Grease Pencil system had it, it would be miles easier to achieve a realistic npr look in minutes...

An example of a use case is that npr often looks 3D once anything begins to move but applying the same LOD system they have for fading detail could be used to draw several variations of an object depending on an angle. So if you're going from looking straight at a face and pan to the side, you could have 3 seperate sketches all fading between each other as you rotate along the face to possibly fix the 3D effect of movement.

But the mobile hatching at 2:30 is really what I think makes the 2D effect as the lines don't stay in 1 spot but calculate and move depending on the view angle. Some kind of screenspace effect.

They also released the source code code.google.com/archive/p/jot-lib/ not sure if it's still downloadable jot.cs.princeton.edu/ Their Site
