Adding Gizmo Support for Geometry Node 'Tools'

I have a suggestion regarding the geometry nodes Gizmo functionality that was introduced with Blender 4.3.

While gizmos work well when geometry nodes are used as modifiers, they aren't available when using geometry nodes as tools.

Traditional modeling tools in Blender (such as extrude) allow users to adjust parameters directly through mouse movement. However, geometry node tools currently lack this intuitive interaction method.

I believe it would greatly enhance the user experience if geometry node tools supported gizmo functionality, similar to how they work in modifier mode.

This would make geometry node tools feel more consistent with Blender's other modeling tools and provide a more intuitive workflow.

Is there any possibility of implementing this feature?

I think this would be quite essential. IMO The Node Tools would have much more use for the Gizmos than Modifiers. With Modifiers you can use control Empties for example. And over get "support" for the Snapping and 3D Cursor.

Maybe it is just not trivial to implement Gizmos to tools because of the way Tools work in Blender.

I came here to suggest the same thing 👍 I was surprised that modifiers were supported and tools weren't!
