680° (+or-) panoramic Camera
I'm interested in photorealism and would like to produce an immersive animated experience. Blender has a panoramic camera, so how about offering one that also pans vertically 320 degrees, so user can see 680° degrees of the environment created (esp. for indoor renders); mimicking looking around…something that fisheye lenses distort.

As far as I know, the indoor panorama only needs 360 degrees. What is the effect of 640 degrees? Can you post a picture to see?
I was not clear in my explanation. I 'm thinking of a camera option that would render a scene animation so that as you walk through it, you could look up at the sky/ceiling snd down to ground/floor not limited so much as with current cams. Providing immersion by wider vision.
I'm sure this would save #of rendering passes and/or post processing. Perhaps this is impossible or already achievable easily, But I've not seen discussion of it.
What do you think? would there be a demand for it in eg. Archvis or movies? An idea ahead of its time?* @maylog *
No comments at all? I am surprised.
I would like receive comments on this especially if it just stupid, or why it is not worth comments.
