Freestyle detecting intersections
I love love love what Blender 2.8 has become. I used to work with Cinema 4D and for my work I have to do lots of 3D models and export their outlines as vectors. The Freestyle SVG exporting add-on is far superior than exporting Sketch and Toon vector lines from C4D.
But sadly, Freestyle still can't detect face or object intersections, which increases the amount of manual work I have to do. I've seen this asked several times online, so I can't be the only one who would like this feature.
Keep up the good work! Thank you!

LANPR can do this, it's available on Graphicall ( Windows build ). It's pretty polished, but not quite ready to merge into master yet- will probably be after 2.82.
LANPR is the GPU-accelerated line renderer that will supercede Freestyle.
Thank you * @Josephbburg * for this information! I wasn't aware of this. Can't wait to go home to try it out. Sadly we use Mac in the office.
* @Mariana * There's a mac build over there, too. And of course you can build it yourself-- the Graphicall builds are pretty old because GSOC is over. You might try asking LazyDodo to build it again, maybe that's easy to do.
Any news about this ? I would find this feature very interesting. Checking the links about LANPR it looks as if the intergration of LANPR in the master is not planned for soon.
