Sidebar - Minumum width for the tabs (customizable)

When having a lot of plugins enabled, the titles on the Sidebar become just a little button with really no title..

I propose to assign a fixed minimum width at the tabs, let them overflow, and make this a customizable option on the settings.

The user should be able to choose the minimum width to be a fixed amount of pixels or the length of the title.

The scroll wheel should continue to work like it does now, but when the bottom limit of the window is reached for the active tab, it should bring the first top element out of view and the bottom one into it.

I'd rather let the tabs be the size of the text they need to display, and allow them to overflow and require scrolling up/down to see them all.

That's how the Propeties Editor 's tabs behave already.

Agreed, the minimum should just be the calculated size of the text for the panel really. Setting an arbitrary width might not work for all cases.

That might also work! ⭐

What about displaying tabs that will not fit in another column? It will take a bit of space but it does not require scrolling back and forth.
