Low increment slider arrows
It's a known feature that upon pressing Shift during operation, you enter precision mode. This works both for operations done as a mouse gesture in a viewport, as well when dragging a slider.
So why not applying the same logic for the arrows on both sides of a typical slider? For example, when you set the bevel amount with a slider, it goes in hundredths (0.15-0.16), while with Shift, it goes with thousandths (0.151-0.152). Sometimes you need a really small number, but even with Shift pressed, it's very easy to overshoot it, so I end up entering such values manually (0.152...3...4...). Would be great to have an option to Shift click little arrows on both sides of the slider, forcing them to count one increment smaller.

I sometimes want a larger increment. If I'm changing the wattage of a lamp, I don't usually want to add or subtract 0.1 watts with each click. So I'd like to be able to increment by 1 or even 10. So if shift produces tiny increments, maybe alt could product larger increments.
Another partial solution would be for each field to have preferred increments embedded into it. So when a developer creates a field, they could define the increment for the arrow buttons. (Or maybe this already exists, I have no idea)
I think a potential problem is how will the user find out about this functionality.
Youtube, like so many other Blender features that aren't innately discoverable.
