Colored wireframes for wireframe only objects in solid shading mode

Hey there, i love the feature to color objects in solid and wireframe mode vie viewport display -> Color. But if i have a custom armature object made from a wireframe object and view it in solid mode, it would be nice of the wireframe color is stil used instead of black wireframe. Or am i missing something ?
