objects to store their own undo history

rather than one undo history for the entire scene, it would be handy if each object (or node when it goes evertying nodes) could store it's own undo history.

This would save having to undo modification you dont want to change in order to undo something on the object you made a mistake on.

The undo history for each object should be cached to a separate file to keep autosaves fast, and brought back into ram only when the object is active, and then once again cached to file when the object is de-selected.

I'm no developer and It does sounds like a cool idea but wouldn't it take considerable amounts of memory? With each object you create you are practically multiplying the amount of memory needed for undo actions.

If it suits your workflow better you can also disable Global Undo under Preferences > System > Global Undo though I personally wouldn't recommend it.

* @MizManFryingP * It would take more hard drive space, but ram usage would remain the same if only the active object's undo tree was in ram (and the max undo's was adhered to on a per object basis).

There should be an option to flush the undo's from the hard drive on file close though for sure.
