interior highlighting in edit mode
when in edit mode areas of a selection that are inside the object are highlighted differently. Makes it easier to see how far from the surface you're moving something.

AFAIK Blender not have in code concept of
inside/outside. All geometries are generated from one cloud of vertices linked to make edges (faces are particular group of vertices filled), so it will hard to see this feature in near future made from one core developer. Blender start to usevolumeconcept less than 1 year ago, on this side blender developers have a lot of space for improve things as these* @NiCapp * how does xray work then?
* @3d illusions * it give all
facesand apply alpha to all, rear faces (Z buffer) are multiply with front faces, no volume or inside/outside calculation, only near/far for 3D viewport Point of View and this was not well working until 2.90 refactor
