Textured ' paper' (map) to grease pencil layer or brush settings

To get the effect of a dry brush , pen or pencil that is broken up instead of just being more transparent when pressure is lighter, a ( tile-able) digital texture could work like the texture of rough paper or canvass.

This effect is separate from the texture that makes the actual ' tip' of the brush itself as you see in the real world example here. The brush bristles lay down the ink , while the textured paper supplies the ' height map' which enhances the deposit of ink.

Ideally it would be a layer setting, but hey, we take what we can get eh?

This is almost ubiquitous amongst drawing applications ( as a brush setting, rarer as a canvass or layer setting) and would be really welcome in the layer and or brush settings in Blender.

Also that these ' paper' textures could be selected to work across selected layers, like ' all line layers', light and shade masked layers , fills or backgrounds. As a layer setting it could be manipulated even after drawing the line.
