An Email Alert for Crashed or Failed Renders
I think a simple little feature could be added that sends an email to a specified address if a render crashes. This was you can render overnight or away from your computer with peace of mind that your render is still running.

That's probably hardly a simple little feature :)
Yes, just buy a bunch of servers beefy enough to support all Blender community worldwide to send emails.
Wouldn't this just be the user's standard email service?
IIRC, After Effects has email features. I have some software (??) that requests an address to send notifications to.
For that matter, they could just limit the feature to one easy to support browser, or only gmail, or whatever makes it easy.
I agree with the previous comment, if there was some type of software, program or whatever it is called that could search the person's networks, such as their email and other questions to know if they are trustworthy when it comes to giving them a loan or not, right? ? I think it would be great if something like this existed, it would save a lot, a lot of time.
I think this is more of an add-on thing than something for the internal blender code. Even then, where does it email you from? It could theoretically use your own address, but… I think you’d be better off with some kind of render farm software that you can use to establish its own network connection and alert your phone.
This is probably the kinda thing that should be handled externally.
Depending on which OS you use, I could recommend some possible ways of scripting your own solution for this.
A while ago I had read an article on the riskseal blog in which it explained very well that if there is a way to see a person's email history and in this way use it to our advantage to know about their credit history, You should look for it and read it, it's worth it, it's really very good
