Sculpt Mode: View Pan does not work with Pen input while View Rotate does

In Sculpt Mode, View Rotate works with pen input, but View Pan does not.

In other modes, I can pan the view using Space + Drag, but in Sculpt Mode this input is ignored.

This feels inconsistent, especially for pen tablet users, since rotation is supported but panning is not.

It would be helpful if View Pan could also respond to pen input in Sculpt Mode, or if the behavior were consistent across modes.
