Upgrading addons and studio capabilities with common addon editor
Hello. I see some addons (including mine) have a need for a full editor space. The best workaround for now seems to be to override the Preferences editor since it's the least used while still providing a blank space (with no C part coded, only a python drawable panel).
The idea would be to add a new editor, with a single dropdown for choosing what addon the panel will display, and every addon would share the same panel. A pin button like in the node_trees would allow fo r a user to have multiple addons panel opens to multiple addons.

Different solution. This one creates a lot of clutter as addons starts to pile up. If one has like 50 addons, and each adds his own panel, the UI will become way too stuffed. With the idea i propose, there is only one editor dedicated to them, and a dropdown like the nodes trees or image editor to select what addon to display. This way, the addons are still restrained to their area like the devs wants to, but we still can access a real editor panel to do what we want in here without holding hostage the preferences panel.
是的,我的插件太多了,我甚至不能看到插件名字了
