Move object to another scene - not link, move..
Right now we can link object to another scene by
Ctr+L
but Move object to another scene is more complicated.
The idea is to give option Move object to another scene without procedure as:
- ctr+c,
- select scene,
- ctr+v
- delete in previous scene
Solution are 2 as:
-
select object, RMB:
Move object to another scene(here list of all scenes - similar like well know function Move to collection ) -
select object and Ctr+L,
Move object to another scene
I know about Linked/Full copy. This is other type case to optimize workflow around scenes.

I see a lot on the net ppl mentioning CTRL+C/CTRL+V as a move. This is not a move, this is a copy. A copy will lead to new objects having .001 appended to their name, which is a pain. So a real move would actually be very much welcome.
It could be nice to also be able to drag stuff in the outliner from one scene to another.
I'm working with lots of scenes and I constantly have to move objects since my scenes are set to render different resolutions (one scene is Scene_512, one scene is Scene_1024 and so on). Copy/paste will also lead to copied materials that I have to change every time. I'm honestly baffled that there is no easier way to move an object to another scene. Edit: It might be better to have all objects in a Main scene and make linked scenes that render in different resolutions. Should have thought about this earlier. Still, moving objects to other scenes should be easier xD
Yep, I also just stumbled upon this. So frustrating that you cannot do this simple operation. Currently, the working solution is to link to another scene and delete your selection in the current one.
